Soils, Mulches & Planting Media

  • Green VAM fungi, which thrives in close proximity to plant roots, enhances soil phosphorus levels, fostering healthier, disease-resistant plant growth. VAM proves invaluable for a wide range of crops, including paddy, coconut, banana, sugarcane, cardamom, tea, coffee, pepper, turmeric, garden plants, cereals, pulses, flowers, and oil seeds.

    Application methods vary:
    1. Nursery Application (100g/sq.m): Apply the inoculum 2-3 cm below the soil surface during sowing.
    2. Polybag Seedlings (10 kg of VAM for 1000 kg of potting mixture): Mix 10 kg of the inoculum with 1000 kg of potting mixture before sowing.
    3. At Planting (20g/seedling): Apply at the time of planting.
    4. Grown-Up Trees (200g/tree): Apply the inoculum near the root zone.

VAM’s remarkable ability to solubilize and mobilize fixed phosphorus in the soil, along with its assistance in transporting micro-nutrients from the soil to plant roots, enhances nutrient uptake.
